John's property career began in 1986 when he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. He established his impressive reputation in the Midlands industrial market, developing over 5 million sq ft of distribution warehousing over a five-year period.
John went on to found the Midlands developer, Kingspark, which quickly became the UK's leading distribution warehouse developer. Kingspark's growth was down to John's outstanding relationship with clients and excellent site acquisition, planning and development expertise. In 1998, Kingspark was sold to Prologis. Following the sale, John joined Prologis and led the growth for Prologis’s expansion into Europe by setting up a £3 billion investment fund.
In 2003, John left Prologis and began the growth of the Parkridge group of companies covering UK retail, warehousing and residential development, later expanding into Europe.
John has since gone on to co-found Cuvette, and is one of the most experienced developers in Europe with a proven track record for consistently developing some of the highest quality distribution, office, retail and residential schemes in the industry.
